North Carolina Coalition Against Domestic Violence

If you've experienced interpersonal violence (IPV) in any form, this organization is a great source of resources and is the best way to find your local DV/IPV agency. Your local agency has a 24/7 hotline, support groups, and other resources for free.

Mobile Crisis Teams

Mobile Crisis Teams are teams of two counselors who can meet you at home or a safe place. Their service is free, though recommended treatments may cost money. The NC Department of Health and Human Services offers a directory of Mobile Crisis Teams and local Crisis Centers. The NC DHHS directories for each can be found below.

NAMI NC Mental Health Resource Page

NAMI-NC has an extensive listing of various mental health and substance abuse resources in North Carolina -- including resources specific for veterans, sexual assault victims, and other specific situations/populations. Many of these resources are available 24/7 and via text.
